The Veteran's Administration is a government loan for military members that have served for a minimum amount of time, typically between 2 and 4 years. Many Reservists are also eligible with a longer service period (typically 6 years).

The government guarantees the mortgage for the end Lender, and the member (borrower) must be able to verify entitlement for the loan. This Entitlement or Eligibility verification is typically handled by the Lender, which they usually do online.
